Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father; but he that acknowledgeth the son hath the Father also.

The first part of the verse, “Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father,” highlights that rejecting Jesus equates to not having a true relationship with God the Father.
