Faith Step by Step
Faith exists everywhere and every day we perform small acts of faith. If we look at the little chart below then we can see some examples of how faith interweaves into our world.
F – Fulfillment
A– Aspirations
I– Innovation
T– Trust
H– Hope
Let’s look at these one at a time.
Fulfillment of promises that we are given or agreements that we have made. Both big and small. The Faith we have on the fulfillment of promises given to us in any form will help us to go through life and can have a real impact on our aspirations for growth.
Aspirations to do new and different things. perhaps to save to purchase something or to work towards passing an exam. As human beings one of the things that defines us is our curiosity and our constant search for more. Think of Columbus discovering the new world or Armstrong traveling to the moon there are many examples great and small of where people aspire to be more than they are and to help others to do the same. Through having Faith in our ability to grow we set ourselves on a continual life long journey of that drives us to discovery and often innovation.
Innovation or ability to innovate is a key skill that we learn from childhood. In our life we have to innovate continuously to move forward from the tiniest problems to the biggest, having faith in our ability and trusting either ourselves or someone we know to solve a problem keeps is moving forward.
Trust is a big thing for many people and it is another form of Faith. Our ability to trust will really help to define how we integrate into society and how we look at life. Those that don’t trust have a very cynical view of the world and tend to not open up to others in an effort to do everything or control every aspect of their life. However, those of us that can have trust in like-minded people and by extension Faith in both ourselves and the abilities of others will help to carry the Hope of all humanity for a more communal approach to life.
Hope – Hope like Trust requires us to have faith in things that have yet to happen it requires us to take what we perceive as a risk in terms of the level of emotional attachment we give to something that we hope is Fulfilled. But the interesting paradox here is that those who have absolute Faith requires very little hope because they have absolute trust in the fulfillment of a promise.
Faith is in every aspect of our life when we already have FAITH in so many things we are told about or possess
is it that difficult to believe in a Man that said he came to save us and give us eternal life?
